Description An alternate version of the Indian Subcontinent and Indochina.
-----
After the British divided India into the Republic of India and Pakistan in 1949, to prevent disputes, the British drew the borders. The borders instead created heavy tensions between the two. Since then, there have been four wars between the two; the Kashmir War (1951-1955), 1st Indo-Pakistani War (1957-1960), 2nd Indo-Pakistani War (1967-1968), and the Bangladesh Liberation War (1971). After the Vietnam War (1955-1975), the three nations of Kampuchea, Laos, and Vietnam joined to create the Indochinese Union in 1981. The Indochinese Union sent troops into Afghanistan in 1983 along with other Soviet allies. Thailand managed to hold onto the lands it annexed during WWII until the United Nations forced it to return the annexed lands to their rightful nations in 1957.
