Job: Samurai, technically a Ronin but also technically not. It's what he tells people anyway.

Ability: Water Veil - Water Veil prevents the Pokémon from being burned .

Attacks: Blizzard - Blizzard does damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the target

Scald - Scald inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of causing a burn . Upon execution, Scald will thaw the user if frozen , regardless of the success of the move. This means that Scald thaws the user even if the move misses or is rendered useless by Detect , Protect , Storm Drain , or Water Absorb . Scald now thaws a frozen target, if it hits.

Likes: Reading, raising an army of fish, Strategy, Accounting of all things (is excellent at paperwork), finding every loophole he can, gathering information and blackmail material, swimming, hot beverages.

Dislikes: The desert (yet here he is), people poking into his own business, incompetence, holier-than-though characters, Miho and her caravan, alcohol (he can't drink it), brutes.

Personality: Hitoshi is somebody who does his best to keep at least a neutral facade, particularly since pleasant isn't really in his nature. He has a tendency to be curt, and holds a high disdain for many people around him. Even those he has a soft spot for don't really get off the hook for anything, but those he does have a fierce protector. Overly fierce when needed, much to the dismay of any comrades. Hitoshi would rather sit down and think about a problem for days before jumping into something with only a hair's-breath of a plan. When alone he can usually be found reading some old text, perhaps even going through art pieces. Whether or not he's actually reading or taking any of it in is anybody's guess, considering he has a million things on his mind at once.

History: Hitoshi was born to a loving mother and a stern father (not unloving just...stern). They both expected different things from him, and being from a wealthy family it wasn't any surprise how high those expectations could be. He trained in the art of the sword, because it was 'honorable', learned some of the arts from his mother, and perhaps even how to be a better human. His own 'estate' was a secure place, Hitoshi was raised with his own set of bodyguards that worked as a team to help protect the village he lived in, along with other guards from other noble families. Everything was peaceful, until one day it wasn't. An assassin had been hired to kill his family, and had Hitoshi not been out taking care of something with another family he might have actually been in danger. As it was, a servant was sent to interrupt him and tell him of the horror that was found at his home.

The seaking locked himself away after that, not patrolling his own village anymore, and hardly seeing this 'friends', or 'guards'. He was pouring over evidence, trying to find any trace of whom might have done this. It didn't take horribly long for him to at least pinpoint the assassin...a dragonair woman named Miho, part of a performance troupe that had visited the village not long before the incident. Despite hating rash decisions, he made one that night and immediately left to follow her trail. Of course he plans to kill Miho, but not after he got her employer information and destroyed the troupe once and for all. He didn't tell his guards, but rather left a note for his cousin who had come to stay at his home soon after the incident. She was in charge, and the espeon and haxorus samurai were to be her guards now.

Along his way, following the troupe, he managed to come across a little girl collapsed on the side of the road. His mother had been a caring woman, and he only imagined what she would do if he left her alone. So he made the mistake, in his view, to give her some of his water. And then a loaf of bread. And now he just can't get rid of her. Or maybe he stopped trying a while ago, as now he can hardly remember not having a little zorua girl named Kirin accompany him on his adventure. He'll find a home for her, sooner or later. Which he hopes for is up to the imagination.

Hitoshi is an adept fighter but makes a far greater information source once he gets set up.
His hair has started to gray since his parents were murdered, partially due to genetics and stress and mostly due to the repressed trauma he insists he doesn't need to talk about.
Don't mention the gray hairs to him, it's just a bad idea
While he might have wealth back home, in his travels he has had to find his own kind of work for a living. While in Scorched, he'll probably offer his services to the local samurai. It's what he knows how to do, after all.
He doesn't try to exploit his status, if anything he tries to hide it so that the troupe doesn't catch on to his presence in the area.
His last name wouldn't be known by anybody, even the zorua companion.
