GWA!!! how do you shade like that without smudging the paper? even with simple shading I ruin my paper...

put a small piece of paper under your hand while youre shading so you dont smudge the graphite with your hand, that or learn how to draw without placing your hand on the paper

i was wondering if it would be alright to point out that it is a wyvern by the virtue of it only having two legs and two wings, and no forward set of arms/legs, but i guess someone beat me to it. hahaha, but still, it is freakin amazing! great shading and display of emotion and i love the musculatrue! great job!

very beautiful, but I must inform you, Dragons have front talons/claws/paws/etc....therefore, this is a Wyvern. [Essentially a dragon, without front claws/paws/talons/whatever.]

indeed, and it pisses me off when there is a difference and noone takes note of it. dragons have four legs, 2 wings and breathe fire. wyverns have 2 legs 2 wings and have a poisonous barb on their tail. how does noone get this!?
