Description The swamp-dwelling mammal was grazing so peacefully on the riverbank, it did not notice the larger predator watching it. Suddenly, there was a change in the wind, a rustle in the grass: and the moment the mammal turned around, it was too late: the predator had attacked it from the side, bit its throat and pinned it down onto the ground. The giant predator then rests for a moment before tucking in into its kill.

Andrewsarchus was large predator mammal known from a single skull, which is lacking a lower jawbone. It was related to hippos, whales, dolphins; but led a predatory life, hunting down large prey by ambush tactics and using its large canines to suffocate its body.

I'm pretty sure Coryphodon lived alongside Andrewsarchus during its time, I dunno. I might be wrong.
