Dr. Woods is here to inform you peoplez, that it is a type of modified "quiver" for holding arrows. I think they usually hold two or three at a time. Makes for quick reloading.

Daryl's my favorite character of them all. Aside from Carl, he's shown the MOST character growth, changing from the Racist Cokehead Meryl's toadying little brother to a valued member of the Group.
