I don't see anything wrong with this, in fact Ghidorah here looks similar to the monster-verse version, it's very good. Merry Christmas.

Yeah they are kinda restrained. I mean you can't do much with a regular reptile monster or dragon. Plus the classic look that cemented.
But I think its cause they wanted to make Ghidorah more threatening that they went for the less dopey Heisei design with more horns and angry face.
And most of these design choices are for realism... Bugs and such have more variety to their characteristics, Rodan hasn't even been touched much so giving him more distinction was quite straightforward.

Samurai Jack all over again. But in my book this IS a very good Godzilla movie. Like it reaches the standards set by similar movies of the Millenium and Heisei.

I like how the new Ghidorah in Godzilla King of the Monsters has a creepy nickname(The Devil) and is buried in ice in Antarctica, which reminds me of Dante's Inferno as Lucifer was immersed waist deep in the frozen Lake Cocytus. In fact, if you are interested, I have written several stories about Bolt, a OC superhero I created, which have been posted on DeviantArt, and I am looking to write a crossover fanfic where The Living Marvel(Bolt's nickname) would be summoned to stop the King of the Monsters in Sydney, Australia(I've posted a early outline for GVB and am planning to take advantage of a family cruise down under in December). Anyway, if I write this fanfic, to be titled "Godzilla vs The Bolt-Children of the Fire, who do you think should win their battle: Bolt or Godzilla?

I know you hate this, but I love this thing. In my personal opinion it looks god damn fantastic! I love the blending of the gold and purple lighting, and I love the purple glow from the moon and ships. And the shading on Ghidorah is just amazing. I love the muscular detail. The red on the edges of the wings is just S P I C Y. And the gravity ray just looks so perfect, the orange edges make it look almost EXACTLY like the 60's gravity rays that he fires. It is awesome, I love it so much.

The tail fins are a gnarly addition. They give him a nice, graceful, aerodynamic silhouette, which I think suits him. He's still solidly built, but has a grace about him that makes him all the more intimidating.

Dude, I'm pretty sure when an artist gets angry on how he can't make it any better, that's when you know you've got something beautiful! The God of Terror here looks alien, but yet still very Ghidorah-ish without adding any weird looking eyes or anything like that. You really made him seem very destructive and very crazy, especially the inner mouth design, all rolled into one! Something so classic and yet something so new is always welcome! Β Β

Haha, Thank you very much! I was tempted to go all out and make him look extremely alien, but you can only go so far in making him look alien before it looses that iconic design we all know and love, and then it kind of ceases to be Ghidorah. In my opinion at least.

How can you say that?Β This is absolutely stunning!Β The color looks good, the extra wings on Ghidorah's tails are a nice touch, the Xilians ships are a good addition.Β I mean, this shows the King of Terror in his glory.

Fantastic! I only did those proportions on the Shin Ghidorah because of how incredibly long the tail was on Shin Gojira. So I just made everything super long. It looks pretty cool on this regular Ghidorah tho. And the extra wing-webbing on the tail area is a very nice touch. What exactly don't u like about this?Β
