Awesome nicely done when you do a Mtg Card do they give you a reference sheet to use for getting Β a similar overall style for all the artists?Β

Hi Jamie,
Yes they do have a style guide they give us in the beginning of each block, but they also make sure to pick artists that already have images in their portfolio that match the style. I worked on the first Guild Wars for NCsoft and I think that is the reason why I was able to get some work. I started with one card at first (Future Sight - Magus of the Future) and I detailed that sucker as much as I could to the level I was capable back then.. luckily it ended up as starter deck box art and booster pack art.

Powerful and primal piece, the two beasts look savage and given the trail of vapor coming from their bodies, it appears as though something brutal is about to occur. If that angel isn't on their side, I don't envy what is about to happen to the winged being. Well done Ubermonster, keep up the great work.
