Description My house is asleep
And my shirt is still wet from that rain
But Iā€™m not cold anymore

I am trying to be silent
Trying to muffle
My breathing
My clock on the wall
My pen running across the page

I am trying to be silent
So that maybe I can hear
Exactly what you are thinking
Or
Perhaps more precisely

Dreaming

Because
It
Matters

Because when I hear that you are happy
I can sneak into your room, into
Bed with you
And wrap your arms around me
And listen to your breathing
Until the first morning light appears
And my shirt is dry

And you never even have to know.

I really like the tone of this poem. Also, the way you wrote it is very creative. ^^
