Description I love people
especially the ones who make me smile
when they’re not around
the ones who insist there’s something wrong
when there is.

I love dreaming;
throwing together strangers
and bits of my real life into portraits,
mixing everyone and everything I see and hear
right into the ink.

I love the cold winter air
that makes my nose burn,
makes me feel
alive and awake.
It makes me open my eyes a little wider.

I love time
how I despise it so for speeding up
and slowing down in all the wrong places
and how it seems sleep is five minutes while
waking up takes hours, and how
if you stare at a clock for to long you
forget just how to tell time.

I love little teal stars
for absolutly no reason at all
but that they are the colour of the ocean
and the shape of the sky. I think that should be enough,
that a love should be less complex,
never needing a “why”

I love revolving doors.
feeling a gust of cool air conditioning
while seeing the glaring orange sidewalk
all in your own little glass triangle
and then moving on with your life,
no longer seeing things through the door but
having to be part of them.

And I love eyes
I love meeting someone’s gaze from across a room
and looking into glassy spheres
staring at you
how a persons eyes can tell you so much
if you take the time to look

I love skin
I am learning to love my own
even the freckles and the scarred bits
Skin is perhaps the most sensual of organs, and
I marvel that the one person holding you
always seems to have warm skin
when you have goosbumps, and
cool skin when you are hot and tired.

I love feeling someone’s breathing when they stand next to me
and concentrating only on that for a little while,
a moment when I pay attention to that persons life,
in the sense of existance, their patterns,
feeling their chest moving up and down,
their warm breathing puffing onto me while
I count out their breaths

I love rain in the summer
how my clothes stick to me and
make me shiver while twirl and how
the rain tastes like lemon and honey,
sweet, and also bright, even though it arrives from a
dark slate sky.

I love to see people smile
to see their eyes crinkle up in the corners and
their mouths open up. I think smiling is adicting.
Or perhaps, to others it is.
When one person smiles people will do so much just
to keep them happy that they may smile themselves.

I love being part of a clump of people
small or large, but being massed together
warm and tangled, arms and legs across heads and stomachs,
taking turns breathing and not daring to move
for fear of letting the cool air inside,
keeping silent and seemingly dead,
smiling in front of a screen.

I love smoke
the way it fills my lungs and I can’t help but
breathe deeper as it makes me close my eyes and smile
and the way it curls up into the air
grey and fragile lifting itself
upwards, flying up into the surrounding air and
fading away into the ceiling.

This is very well done. I like how you don't just say that you love something, you give a reason. I'm going to fave this.
