transfereable experiences.
the spine seems dangerous, sharp and strong.
could wrap itself around the other, squeeze and cut and strangle
or it could be tender, embracing and protecting.
there's some disconnection, the eyes don't meet and the expressions don't connect.

because the adoration makes them unequal - they can't really see each other. it's a powergame. abusive and tender - interchangeable.

you have a really nice mastery of the colors. i do some similar stuff (if any surreal stuff can be similar) but mostly in black and white so far, there are so many possibilities without color, but you show how subtle colors can really enhance a picture
