Unfortunately I feel like I didn't explain this how I wanted, but I can't think of anything else 
I haz no skills.

This is to show what colour and colour combinations I use. I know it looks like it's a pick-up colour play and might not be useful but have it anyways.*gets slapped* If I ever get enough inspiration to write a cool tutorial I might redo.
I have no intention of denying any colouring style, or colours. I showed what works best for me, so feel free to experiment moar.

I assume this is set for most programs, but in Clip (my program) you have to manually select the color profile, which changes depending your usage. CMYK is preferred for printing and such. Adobe RGB is a more radiant colour profile and that's what I use when choosing colours

Oooooooooooooooh *___* really interesting to see more of what makes up your pictures!! Colour is defs ur strong point imo so seeing a pro explain what they do is really helpful
I'm not one to use super bright colours more becuase I don't feel I have a good .....control of them yet? BUT I WILL ONE DAY//runs to go try out

Have any ideas what a good color combo would be for a character with neon rainbow hair and a super dark, almost black, body??
I have a commission with this and I have NO idea what to do with it.

well, late reply is late. 
I would pick one of the neon colours he has in hair and change it & make it darker than the hair & lighter than the body

Well yeah a little late since I just posted it last night:
I just ended up going with black shading since nothing looked good, and just overlayed some color on top. Now that worked fine for the fur actually, but I think the hair came out very 2D looking with that black shading.
I dont know its just one of *those* characters. But at least its finally done so I dont have to worry about it anymore.
