The Sunday after he died our local retro television station had a Leonard Nimoy night to celebrate his life and career. I completely forgot he was in Β an episode of Get Smart and in a Colombo movie.

My fiance and I do the vulcan two finger touch to symbolize togetherness and have as a symbol of our love when out in public for the nearly three years we've been together. So the news was very hard to hear.Β

Can't say i've seen him a whole lot (i was 10 when he stopped being really active in TV series/films). But from what i have seen hes acting was splendid and also as a person i noticed that he was a really nice guy.
so yea i'm not really connected to him but from what i've seen and know about him i take my hat of for him.

First Gary Owens--Space Ghost, Roger Ramjet, the beleaguered announcer on Laugh In and Powdered Toast Man to those few who did not grow up listening to his voice--and now Mr. Spock. Β Another part of my childhood has died.
