Its amazing what people can do to motors.Β  I work in a shop that repairs them and some of the things that come in our doors will amaze you at how they are destroyed.

And I'm right about the first sentence also....If you don't have electric current flowing through that armature, the motor doesn't work ! Tesla discovered this process....

I worked in a shop for several years that repaired electric motors. We worked on motors from very small to as big as a house.
