Memories on seeing this! I got knocked out coming out of the back of one of these at 15+ feet up while it was doing a moving drop. The 75+ lbs of gear on my back didn't help my landing either!

I flew out on the Chinook and got dropped off with the troops on the ground, as the unit photographer. There was a lot going on so I positioned myself in the center of the action. I had to use a fast shutter setting, as the down wash from the Chinook can reach over 100mph.
