Description
design sketches for Inquisitor Cedric Aquilos. He's a rather moderate inquisitor, and I haven't quite settled on whether he should be in one of the Ordos or not (Ordo Hereticus if anything, probably). By moderate I mean that he's moderate for a radical - he tends towards the Xanthite faction but counsels great restraint in that regard, and has hefty Thorian leanings also, not having allied himself fully with any one of the Inquisition's major factions.I based the design here on mixing a fantasy wizard with a salem witch-hunter and adding lots of eagle imagery, since this was concieved as making a 40K version of a longstanding fantasy character of mine.

I feel like I can imagine this guy's character. He's some kind of mad do type. He's obsessed with technology, and is wise but foolish at the same time, maybe autistic or something. I feel like I know him. He's so cool. ;D

Actually, I wasn't even thinking of the Eversors when I came up with the design for his cyberhand. I was thinking of a way to have a wicked-looking delivery system for all sorts of interrogation-related drugs and/or poisons. Interesting connection.

Cool stuff! I don't play any of the minifig games anymore, though I'm very tempted to eventually get parts together to convert up a few of the characters I've created in the big =I= scale.
