Description Tried some new things. Done with ink.
Never doing grass that way again, fuck that stuff. Doesn't look even half as good as it should considering the amount of time i put in it. Whelp.

I've been watching Hannibal and loved the idea of fantasy-stag-things, so this happened.
No idea where the dead deer came from. it just... appeared. As did the steam. (At least it's supposed to be steam. Kind of messed that up. Couldn't stop halfway through though...)

I'm actually somewhat happy with the outcome, especially the background. I mean, I'm pretty sure no one recognizes that there's a little stream and stuff, but hey, it still looks nice, yes?

(Btw, this isn't considered mature content, is it...? I personally really doubt it and also asked some people, but... eh. please tell me if it's considered mature!)

the steam on the deer kind of looks like a soul escaping (a little bit at least)
I don't know, I don't like this piece as much as some of your other ones, although that has more to do with my taste and not your skill.
For me the background does not seem developed enough (not detail wise, the grass detail is insane) but looks more like an afterthought to the well positioned central piece (composition wise).

The shadows that are casting from the feet on the grass are really well done, you can really see the effort you put into it.

hmm now that you mentioned it...
haha thanks for being honest with me ;D but I'm not surprised, seeing how I'm constantly trying out new styles / themes / ...
truth to be told the background was one of the first things I drew. thanks for noticing the grass, oh god that grass, I still feel the frustration that stuff gave me T~T
really, thanks for your comments, you really make my day (and please forgive me literally taking months to answer...)

I like to get criticism and even though I like getting one word comments like "Awesome", they are nothing compared to comments where people actually take the time to think and answer with meaning to the picture, mentioning the problem if any and just boosting the morale. (Although I sometimes feel that I am being too critical with you)

And no problem for the slow replies, I sometimes take just as much (at times I kinda fade out of DA).
At least you answer!!

yeah I know that feel... *coughs* but I will always continue to dutifully answer! the comments might stay some years in my inbox, but I never forget about them! D:
