ps cs2 airbrush tool, the two page thing isnt really workin out for now.. time constraint. already spending good portion of the afternoon on this.partly uh, inspired, by the shit training i went through.

I like many of your works for the drawing. But your comics works is even better cause you add a dynamic way to tell your story. It's quite rare; It deserve a fav' and a watch!!!

Oohh~ It's much better with this solid edge for paneling, because your style is more painterly and expressive, a contrast of a hard edge panel is esstiencial. I am glad you moved to that.

Brilliant sense of movement - the action is really packed into these few panels and you can almost see them moving in your mind. I'm really in love with this concept.

This stuff is just...brilliant. The black and white visual style, the composition of the images, the slight haze and undefined linework of debris in the background...the way this has been pieced together to create the atmosphere is simply august. Rarely have there been comics with such an impact as this.

do you refrence images for your backgrounds, as far as how a destroyed building looks? or is this all off the top of your head?
what kind of training were you refering to? i really like the top two pannels, your char poses have great movement and your backgrounds are very subtle and give great depth.

to cut down on time, i dont use refs, and i just use whatever material is at my minds eye at the moment. explains the boring minimalism

i think the minimalism is what really defines some of your work(compliment). and your ability to create such loosly rendered images with the viewer automaticly identifying them is amazing. especially if it is right off the top of your head. I would never say boring though. thanks.

everytime I see a new piece done by you, all I can say out loud is "holy... crap" And I DO pause when I say the holy part, you know, before I say crap. That's why there are three dots and a space between the holy and crap

Airbrush tool, eh? I'll have to try that sometimes. Do you use the default brushsets that come with Photoshop, alter them a bit in the option tab, or do you have your own sets of brushes for this sort of thing?
I ask because I was experimenting earlier... But failed miserably.

nice visual issue work. for those who can't draw on tablet, tape down a piece of paper. you will have some what similar friction as drawing on sketch pad.

yeah, id hafta say the style does remind me of the
space marines in aliens, but i like how your going with
the 50 somethin diferent gangs of mercinares that
are fighting for territory, sounds like a crazy apocoliptic
los angeles. i really like the sentryl cannon too
