I don't get it. How do you get rid of all the pencilling so completely? Is your eraser that good? Doesn't the paper tear?

Hehe, it's even simpler. I use no eraser
In fact, I ink on tracing paper. I don't have a light table, so it's a good way to have a clean render

Well, I use to sketch on bristol paper with co-erase pencils, then I use to ink on 110gr tracing paper with pigment pens. If it's too light, it's all melted just utting your hand on it...
Feel free to try it too ! it's an "experience"

This is a good page
I would just warn you with adding white stripes between boxes so it makes the reading more fluent
For the narrative text, you can make them "on" the drawing, making it look like a narrator voice
