Description
Done for Street Fighter Tribute book.This game is special for me, cuz the art of this game reintroduce me to drawing again when i was 14 years old, at the time i was more interested in becoming a engineer in electronics . Maybe if i never played this game , i never have thought on work on comicbooks.
Since three years ago im working full time as comic book colorist, with lack of time to draw anything, this sometimes make me little depressed , so when Udon make this contest was the perfect pretext to do an ilustration fully done by me since more than a year.
I take this character knowing it will be done by a lot of participants ( i have seen a lot of amazing pieces) , maybe i could have tried a less famous character i would have more chances to be selected for the book, but i really wanted to remember the first glimpse of the game i have, a wining Chun-Li VS Blanka...
Luckily i get selected.
Done around 10-12 hours mostly fixing-redrawing Blanka , im really dusty drawing.

I enjoy the personal interpretation of Chun Li. SheΒ΄s been drawn so many times, but your realistic approach (mainly the face) is still fresh. Good use of dustclouds, Blankas pose is good as well. M Bison in the window is a nice touch!

Originally i was making a more cartoony style, but i didnt like how it was looking, so i over paint it, mostly on the face until i get this.
