Description Deviant of the month gift for

So while bouncing around to try and locate a less than known Deviant to feature, I ended up stumbling to this girls page. She's got a TON of pics in her gallery and so very little views! Let's help her out shall we?

It's worth it. I haven't seen a lot of deviant put so much meaning into their pics, even the simple ones! I tried to do her justice by expressing one of her characters in full emotional glory. It was tricky figuring out who to draw though XD

I feel rather stupid, because I realized 3 years ago, I never watched you or made you a friend! LE GASP!
All this time, I was trying to think of how you happened to run into my gallery way back then.
And then after seeing all the pieces you did with/for Bluehog, I filled in that blank of how you might have visited.
Unless you just popped in randomly, in which I am also pleased!

The stuff you've done for him is really cool. Would it be ok if I posted this in my gallery with a link towards you? I posted a journal with the link a while back, but I wanted to put it in gift work I received.

Admittedly...
I have visited this piece many times, often when I am sad and don't feel like my art makes an impact. It continues to touch me as the only artwork of my character done by someone that wasn't already a close friend. Something really special and I had done nothing specific to deserve such a gift. Even seeing it now and sharing it with my fiancee, who later became Miff's husband, he laughed at the expressions, confirming how perfect they were for her.

Heh I didn't make the piece to get a new watcher or friend even. But thank you for the watch regardless

Back when I made the picture, me and the group of friends I hung out with back then tried to make it a thing where every month we would pick someone on DA who we thought needed more appreciation and attention sent their way. I remember seeing one of your pictures in Bluehog's (I call him Blue) favorites that I also took a liking to, and after looking through your gallery and then how many watchers and average views you get per piece, I chose you to draw a picture for. That is how I came about making this picture

I love practicing and drawing expressions, so I guess that's why I chose to draw what I did. (I did try to do some research on the character at the time, I just can't recall what I discovered back then cause it's been a while). It's really nice to see that it's touched you often though when you need the pick-me-up. I honestly don't get that often, and it's so nice to see someone come out and tell me that I've helped brighten their day continually. It helps me realize that my gift really is one of my biggest (and maybe only) asset.

I think it's an excellent idea to feature other artists, and you definitely had the following base to be able to share to a broad group of people. I ended up featuring you in my journal as well after the surprised pleasant shock of it!

At that time, I was so stoked that you managed to get the right character and coloring, considering I've been flip flopping for it on ages! While I have just recently switched back to original colors, it was so cool to see gift art, actually the only gift art, in the secondary design!

I'm glad it warmed your heart for a minute to know it made a difference. And I don't care if it's been three years, I think every artists deserves to know their work moved someone...  Your welcome. Hope many more get back to you on the happiness they get from your pieces ^^

This is incredible! The colors are very smooth and bright, and yet you contrasted it well with the soft pastels in her dress... The range of emotions is wonderful, and all are ones you've expressed I can relate to a key point in her overall story too. Even though she's not as prone to the angry face: touch one of her kits, and you'll have that face in your maw. I find it incredible that even not knowing the character's backstory, you've filled out a vixen with very much personality. My personal favorite is her laugh face, so full of joy. ^^!

Thank you for the very special art piece, it's like Christmas came early and Santa's sleigh accidentally tipped over.
