I love like 85% of the Highland cast but I am known for being a fan of Rowd's character 8D IT WAS ONLY FITTING THAT I TOOK RESPONSIBILITY TO DRAW HIM (because no one else was going to anyway!)Sierra here:

IDK why but even though Rowd is a jerk& betrayed both Riou& Jowy, I still think he's cool. And there's no least favorite character I have on Suikoden 2, coz everyone is awesome there. ;u;

I immediately started liking him a lot when I found his sister in Kyaro. She's a little blind girl who says that her big brother in the army is going to take her to get her eyes fixed ;o; So while his jerkhole actions are not excused, they were for the purpose of looking better in Luca's eyes in order to get a promotion. If you recall, he even disappears after he gets that promotion, and when you go back to Kyaro, his sister is gone too -- guess he got enough money to leave the country and bring her to that doctor!

Oh yeah, I clearly almost forgot about that side story. Rowd did have to make some sacrifices just to appease Luca.
Harsh yet it's only for his sister's condition. ;o; That, has the guts to turn his back on his own soldiers even though he doesn't really mean it. I keep imagining that he mentally apologizes to them for what he's done. ;u;
