My first blueprint ever for first prop ever! Based on various reference images and using the Crisis Core cover art as an underlay, matching Zack's height to Illustrator rulers. most dimensions are really close to familiar measurements +/- .01" Comes out to about 70" including handle.I'm actually kinda surprised at how right it looks printed out (except for blade width, necessary because of materials to be used). Even an inch wider and it just looked weird.
It's gonna be a long journey to make this a reality.

Maximvm is right this is fantastic, by far the most detailed blueprint of THE Buster Sword I've seen. I'm wanting to start work on an FFVII Remake Buster, would you mind if I referenced this as a basic guide help? Hope to see you on more, take care!

by all means use this as a guide. that's what i did. it's definitely an ambitious first project. the hardest parts will be structure if you use a light material, or weight if you use a sturdy material. good luck
