Actually quite the contrary! Typically they'll release miscellaneous Pokemon before they get anywhere near the starters, gen 2 released Slowking, Marill, Togepi, and Snubbull, gen 3 released Kecleon, Wailmer, Azurill, and so on. Gen 6 was the first and only gen to leak the starters and the legendaries first

oh, gen 7's already been confirmed since xy first came out ahaha they talked about it in an interview i think?? i mean, at this rate theres no doubt that pokemon's going to continue on with the generations haha \o v o/

i figure this is just like the style of leaks like bonsly/munchlax and azurill/kecleon from back in the day, when they would show a couple of pokemon from the next gen and have them cameo in a bunch of places long before the next gen actually releases

Yes, but it just feels like we are going to fast....I miss the Yellow version, and would rather see a remake of that...
I don't think this "Z" version would exist...I mean, Giritina had it's fame with Platinum, but I don't feel like the Pokemon Company would waste time on Zygarde.
My thoughts of this is that the new little green Pokemon is actually Zygarde's altered form. To me, it looks like a baby snake.
But that's just my imagination.
I would rather wait another two-three years before a new Pokemon Generation comes out. It's too soon.
We already saw what happened to Black and White. They spent a lot of time on designing Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom, along with Keldeo and the other three Legendary Swordsmen, but the other Pokemon? Agh. C'mon Nintendo...come up with some clever designs.

\o n o/ im almost certain that the naga shadow is zygarde's form, i mean, his bst is lower than the other two, plus he has 2 hidden signature moves in the coding of xy, so its very clear that hes getting a new form of some kind, whether its a mega evolution, primal reversion, or just a form. idk what they're gonna do for the sister version, but its pretty clear that there's gonna be one, since volcanion had hidden plot in kalos, instead of hoenn. 
Although this pokemon being a zygarde bb would be an interesting twist, the red circle on its belly leads me to think otherwise personally
and, honestly gen 5 didn't last quite as long as the other gens simply because there was no remake to tide us over for a year. most gens only last 3ish years, and im going to guess that xy sister game is going to hold us over for the next year while they finish developing gen 7
plus, a LOT of pokemon in gen 5 are some of my favorites... i thought the region had some pretty clever, cute, and interesting designs tbh. it was a very bold move for them to create an entire new region, with no basis on previous pokemon, designing more pokemon than they ever have for a single generation before, even more than gen 1 u n u

Yes, I suppose. And yes, I do absolutely think that the giant shadow in the previews has something to do with Zygarde. I mean, even in the desription says "hexagonal shaped glowing spots", which we all know Zygarde has.
