the final boss fight (regular mode) i had 43 LIVES (starz+1UPS) and he made 5 of them NON-EXISTENT

I'm betting it's more difficult in Extra Mode (still stuck in Dangerous Dinner on Extra Mode... God, I hate getting those last few energy spheres), since not only is it stronger, but you have reduced health (which I always thought was horribly unfair and basically bordered on "fake" difficulty).

you have 80% of your health... the ONLY times i lost were boss fights-- HRD3 and MAGOLOR SOUL EX

Oh, it's still 80%? I thought your health was reduced by a total of 1/3 (meaning you would have about 66% of your full health)...

...Maybe I just suck at the later levels... Then again, the three levels of Dangerous Dinner feel like ROM hack levels at some points. Especially those sections with meteors in the third level, particularly the one where you have to carry a TIMED key through it, and if you get hit or don't make it in time, you lose the key and have to do the ENTIRE level all over again just for one Energy Sphere.

Also, I seem to die all the time in battles with Sphere Doomer EX... having to go through those areas again, with the faster void wall thing, is a pain, ESPECIALLY in the later levels.

I did get that particular Energy Sphere on my second try, though, so it wasn't too bad...

And the meteors move in a pretty simple pattern, so they're not too difficult to avoid (even when you have to float through a field of them...)

it is a bit compressed (use bomb-- self destruct-- dmg, same thing EX mode, little less)

It doesn't always provide you with the Bomb ability, though...

The most annoying one, though, was probably the one with the small pool of water in the middle that didn't have a bottom.
