This is beautiful. I love how you gave them (Or her.) realistic features and how their hair flows to show their face expression. I love how the eyelashes are so large too, gives an great example how you and maybe other fans see Frisk's gender or face. Theres a lot I could say about their face and how beautiful they are, although the face kinda makes them look a bit older I still love it. I don't think I've ever seen anyone make so realistic fan art like this for an video game character. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy art like this.

Wow. This is incredible. I love the blending of the colors, and how relaxed she looks. The shading is magnificent, and I actually feel relaxed by looking at this. The heart/soul in itself is amazing as well. I could never do something like this. Holy guacamole. I would love to see Chara, if possible. I love the gradient, did I mention that? Man, I'm just going to shut up now. And leave. So I don't keep talking about how lovely and wonderful this artwork is. Meow. *Rolls away in a pie tin into the abyss to never been seen again!*

Digital Art can be very hard in the beginning, but I think this looks already fairly good. I particularly love the warm colors you used, empathizing the soft, warm expression.
As a side note, I haven't played Undertale and my first assumption upon seeing this was that Frisk is a girl... until I read some other comments and googled and found out that nobody really knows their gender. So maybe you might want to try adding some androgyny? The heartshaped face and extremely large eyes add a lot to the feminine look, so maybe making the eyes a little smaller and maybe higher as well as giving the jawling more edges may help. Again, I haven't played Undertale and don't know anything about the original, so it might be intentional and in that case I take everything back.
The thing I like most about their face is their lips, by the way. I think lighting and shading here are near perfect, it makes them look so soft and cute. I also think you did well with the nose and (what many people neglect) the eyebrows, I like the detail there. However, I think the eyes could use some work. In themselves, they look fine, but I think the contrast is too hard. It would probably look better if the eyelashes were a bit brighter, maybe of a similar color like the hair, only a bit darker? Also, drawing the top part with a very soft brush may help to blend them a bit better. Also, Frisk's hair looks very nice, but I think it could use a bit more detail, since eyelashes and brows a rather detailed look. A good way to make hair look more details is to create a new layer, take a hard, smooth brush in a small size, pick some colors from the hair and then quickly draw small strands following the general direction or sometimes moving against it.

Overall, a very nice picture. Maybe not perfect, but certainly not "ugly" like your tagline states. Just keep practising digital stuff and you'll get better in no time. Good luck!

Hello. I'm from ProjectComment 's Weekly Commenting Project. So, I picked this one.

Anyway, I like the composition. It's smooth, and he (he?) looks to be calm (she?). Much better than my digital art when I started, so you're off to a good start! Compared to your other pictures though, this one seems to be an experimental for being a little bit to realism?

First of all, I'd like to talk about the hair. His/her (agh) hair is really soft, but compared to his soft face, his hair looks quite bright like brass or metal of some sort. The darker it gets, the less strokes used to go with the flow of his hair. Also, I'm not sure where the lighting is, and you seem to highlight many points of his hair with light. It's a little confusing when you follow the lines because they lead to form an X.

Anyway, the eyebrows are a bit too bushy-looking for one his age and his eyelashes are too thick. In addition, his lower lip seems a little "large" for his upper lip. His nose also seems to become more narrow over time as it goes downwards, and more inward as well. The colour you used to line the nose is quite visible because it's a solid colour and not really blurred (?) out like the rest.

Awesome work, I really love your use of colours and how you portraied the subject, It's very pretty and well-done!
I think your style and grasp of anatomy are really good, the palette you've used is really pretty as well!
You did a really awesome work with the face and skin, it's very good! However, you could improve your coloring of hair: try to do smaller strands and add more shadows and highlights as well!
On the other hand, the sweater looks kinda blurry, some sharper shadows would be good, and also doing the lines on it less saturated, they look like they don't belong there!

It's a lovely picture!  Personally I like the range of colours, there is a nice mix between complementing and contrasting colours.  Closed eyes are a problem, eyes are such a focus to pictures that when they are closed there is always a temptation to work in more detail than is needed!

This is amazing. Beautiful. Two things! I feel like the skin tone and the background blends in just a tad too much. (IN MY OPINION If you like it then its fine.) Second, you could add darker lines right beside the lighter ones on the sweater to add more depth.

Also, remove that #ugly tag. No one will be able to find your beautiful art otherwise.
