Description   Many of us will remember the first time we met the things that are important to us. The violin is his most precious thing as it channels his thoughts into sharp and soft, quiet and loud notes. He seems to be able to channel his feelings better through the strings rather than his vocal cords. His first violin wasn't considered anything special but to him it was a masterpiece.

Veelo had a childhood most people would deem lucky. He was  part of a rich family and was rather spoiled, having an instrument was considered a high class thing.

So I have to prepare for a local pop up gallery who has agreed on selling my artworks. I'm going to make the most of this oppurtunity and try to produce as much as possible. I'm practicing watercolours and trying to learn new techniques.

Oh man, that's really cute. The large head/eyes and that smile really get the message across that he's young here. I love how you mixed warm colours with gray tones. I think it makes it feel more like a memory; like a faded photograph, maybe.

Hey, congratulations on finding an opportunity to sell your art! I hope it goes well. I know you're usually asking for critique, so I'll see if I can point anything out. The legs themselves are great, but I think that studying paws could help you. Getting the proper placements and lengths of the toes and then stylizing them is pretty important. I feel like that's the only thing though. Some techniques you could play around with if you haven't already are wet-in-wet to make some "bleeding" effects (I personally admire how you can get your washes layered like that, but you might enjoy this) and using a worn out brush with "drier" paint on it onto dry paint to get some interesting textures. I hear that salt and some alcohols dripped into wet paint can also do some cool things.

Thank you! Your advice is really helpful and i'll be sure to experiment more with my mediums. I find drawing back legs difficult, expecially when you're trying to put the character in a position the actual species wont ever go in. I'm slowly getting better though and trying to understand more.
