This looks really cute. The use of blue for the guy and pink for the girl is a nice touch, and the little details are great. Awesome work!

Pixel art is extremely difficult to do, and even more difficult to do well. I have no doubt that it took several hours to pull this off, even though it appears relatively simplistic.
The little hugging blue/pink emoticons are really cool as well. I've seen a bajillion emoticons, and most of them are complete crap with too many props involved. These emoticons really shine because of their minimalism.

It did take a long time to do. I just started working on emoticons and this is the most complicated one I've done so far. Some things like the free hands and the bouquet I could cut and move, but the hard part was keeping everything in line as they turned.
