Inspired by www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs-RQk…I imagine AppleJack as the pony that gets super depressed and in really bad moods sometimes because she has the most responsibility and that can be hard a lot. Probably says some chipper saying she learned from her family and keeps working and smiling.
As my friend put it, if she weren't so loyal, I mean honest, she'd probably be the one most bitter about Twilight's Alicornness. Her friend gets unnecessary wings when she was already a unicorn who can apparently do AppleJack's job easily(see: over powered Twi in Applebuck Season) while AppleJack has the hardest work on her hooves.
Here I figured I'd put another assumed frustrating situation for an Earth pony, how'd she get that scrunchie on to begin with anyway?

Hmmmm... That's an interesting idea... AJ with a chip on her shoulder.
But she can rest assured that after Twilight got promoted to Princess, Twilight now has more responsibility than most of her friends combined. And AJ comes a close second of the rest of their friends.
