From what I can gather, "demi-" refers to "feeling sexual attraction towards a person that they have been friends with for a long time". Here's a link to an article that describes what it means in more detail.
Meanwhile, "bi-" simply means "sexually attracted to both male and female genders". However, even this has many definitions, since this topic is very huge and it's really really difficult to use these terms properly without misusing them like how many others have done.
