Like Ai, Kei has a large potential as an Alice. However, his ability is less than hers, and so cannot be used extensively.
How it was discovered
When Kei was 4, he first discovered his Alice. He had been playing hide and seek with his friends at a nearby park. He was one of the hiders, whilst his friend was the seeker. About to be caught, Kei shut his eyes very tightly. "Don't find me, Don't find me...." When he opened his eyes, his friend was right in front of him, but he didn't take any notice of Kei at all. Kei waved his hands in front of his friend's face, but he didn't notice. When Kei did that, he saw that his hands weren't wear he thought they were. Startled, he looked around and didn't see his body anywhere. He was what seemed like a distortion on the outline of his body, but his friend didn't seem to see that. Panicking, Kei went to a pond where he could see his reflection. What he saw was nothing, only the sky behind him and his friends searching for him. It lasted hours at first, but then he slowly grew able to control his Alice.

Ai is his younger sister, but she barely remembers him because he was sent to the academy when she was very young. When Ai had come to the academy, she always looked for Kei but Kei would use his Alice to hide from her.
Kei makes sure that Koichi doesn't do anything to Ai (by watching them, of course//hit)
He wears contacts most of the time.
tbh this is just my opinion and it's not canon but i feel like he'd be masochistic- while all my other characters are sadists AHAHHA cries why do i categorize them this way
