I love this! The title made me laugh pretty hard, it was great.
Every element of this art is worthy of its own comment, so I'll just sum it all up with one word: awesome. And also the way you snuck your deviantart link in there was clever, but not half as clever as the way you rendered her magic.
It looks like she doesn't have chainmail on her other back leg, though.

a cored sword
magically reinforced mono-edged blade
friction free, can cut through any object
only a cored or magic force field shield, or blade
would be able to stop it.
but if that's the case why are there 7 scratches or cracks on the blade?
you'd fix a sword after battle,
and you wouldn't use a damaged blade to fight with.
meaning there either hasn't been time to fix it, or no black smith facilities.
but a unicorn warrior should be able to magically fix their sword
by magically resetting the sword to erase any stress damage,
or by magically smithing and forging the damaged section or the whole thing.
and why is an unicorn using an earth pony sword?
an earth pony would use a sword with a wrapped handle,
so they could bite onto it. an unicorn doesn't have the strength for that
a pegasus would use shorter hoof blades,
but an unicorn should be using a single sword, with a secondary short blade, where the handle and hilt would be.
or a small swarm [3, 5, 10] of handle-less double-edged crescent-shaped blades
cored to prevent another unicorn from using them

when it comes to the wrapped hilt issue, it is actually fine. the handle gives him a specific spot to hold with his magic, and the magic (glowing gem) of the blade (looks like electricity) might be activated when the hilt is held with magic.
Having a hilt could also be for a specific style of sword-fighting, one that requires a hilt. Each unicorn has his or her own preferences.
The blade might have also been received from (or made by) an Earth-Pony (though not very likely).

That's why we use Orichalcum and Mithril, self healing gear. I can see where it is a bit cost prohibitive though.

Aye, I wouldn't doubt that a blunt sword, wielded by a skilled fighter, can still pose a threat.
But I would argue that a "professional" who willingly sabotages their equipment before use probably doesn't have a lot of experience in their profession, if any at all.
So the reason why I wouldn't consider that display intimidating is not because the sword would be blunt. It's because the behaviour implies that the "intimidating warrior" likely has no clue how swords work.
I'm not saying you're doing your stuff wrong or should have done it differently. Your drawing technique is amazing. I'm just raising the point that to people knowing a wee bit about melee weapons the displayed behaviour may make the character appear less like a badass and more like a fool.
