This was my fourth take at spraying this stencil. It gave me nothing but trouble. I'm still not happy with it but i figured I should still make note of it.I was just stumbling around the internet at work (thank you stumble upon for making my work days shorter) and this image jumped out at me and told me to make a stencil out of it. I wanted to get some good detail in his tie and coat but my heart wasn't in it and it shows. If I had to say something positive about it, I like how his left eye came out (viewers right).

how do you paint on vinyl? i tried to do one but the paint just puddled up.

Photoshop to tweak the levels a bit, darken the darks and lighten the lights, and then illustrator. What's the name of the program, i'd like to check it out!

its mostly my "inventions", im not working with photoshop actually, and i simply try to get things done using some kind of "mechanical way"

haha yeah, go for it! I wish my tie/his upper torso area came out better. It'd be interesting to see how two different people go about making a stencil of the same thing, (again) I say go for it

It may not have turned out how you wanted to, but it's got this really ghastly vibe that I like alot.

Thanks, my parents have milk crates full of records that they have no use for so it beats throwing them away.
