Unfortunately, it's not coming along too well... I've made a few different drafts of the story and nothing seems to be turning out right... Hopefully I will be able to at least get a chapter written or so before I go back to school.

Sorry to hear that. If that idea is not working, I encourage you not to die to try working on the second idea or a different idea or no idea at all. There's no pressure to write

Aw thanks so much! I actually had a a bit of inspiration not that long ago and I began writing another draft and I'm liking where the story is going so far. So far, I already have characters from ParaNorman, Coraline and Box Trolls featured- all I have to figure out now is how the group meets up with Kubo... And then of course the outcome of the crazy trip... But other than that, I think it's coming along slowly but surely! And ha ha! I love that one Kubo reference X3

You're welcome! I'm glad you found some inspiration and that the story is going well. Do you want some help figuring out how to make the group meet Kubo? I have an idea on how that could happen.

I know it’s similar to ParaNorman (him being transported in time in that forest), but if your road trip is set near a forest, you could have Kubo have a dream about the forest and when he's awake, have him explore it and enter a cloud of fog or the darkest part of the forest which transports him into the other group’s world.
