Oh, SHNAP! Nobody expected a digital speedpainting again, aye? View of a remote undersea outpost with an accompanying submarine. Created with Photoshop CS3 and took about 1 hour and 45 minutes (and I like the fact that it didn't take as long as my stupid previous 8-hour "speed" painting! ).

The story is quite strange actually. I was browsing Encyclopedia Dramatica looking at DA's portal there when I found out that they updated their article on ConceptArt.org. I went there and found a few famous DA-guys get the beating from CA.org. After reading the lulzified highlight forum threads in which such events occured, I told myself... "will there come a time I'll become as privileged as the elites there?" and "if I went there now, would I be treated similarly to those who were shook off?"

And so after taking a look at their speedpainting thread, I tried my hand on my tablet after not doing so in a long time. I just picked up my pressure pen and... WHOA! Felt like I was possessed or something.

Honestly, I don't really need to know if I would become a pro or not or how long it would take - as long as I know I'm on the right track, I'm darned happy even if I don't reach that level. "Do I have a place in CA.org... or no chance?" - that is the question.
