I really like this picture. I've been searching for something that has defeat and lonliness in the same picture and I've finally found it. I feel the same way right now.

True, but I am not keen on writing things to DA anymore... I wrote something expressing how I felt because of extreme discrimination I felt, and it wasn't THAT bad...it got 7 faves...but one of the gallery directors just started BASHING it AND me.... and it pissed me off sooo much...so I took it down..haven't submitted any writing since.. : \

I'm the 100th person to say this, but I truly hope you don't suffer through this long. I can't say "It isn't that bad", because now it will feel that it is, however, you must keep in mind that life goes on, and something new will make this bad time only a memory.
And on the art, it's very moving. I don't know if it's appropriate to favorite it or not, but it's definetly the most gripping thing I've seen in a while.
SO pull through your situation soon, so then you can draw some more purdy pixtures.

You're right, I have absolutley no idea what happened. It coulda been that you stubbed your toe on the way to the kitchen, which made you sad, and decided to paint this (ok, probably a huge underexaggeration). However, unless an unspeakable tradgedy happened (in which case you wouldn't have been able to make the piece), life will go on to bring you okayness.
BTW, it wouldn't happen to be the election? I seriously doubt it, but it just popped in my head. If it's that, then I DO know how you feel. And I'm not trying to start a debate here...

i like your pieces like this. i know it sounds cruel to say but sometimes it's good for artists to go into these moods coz it can inspire great work.
