Beautiful tribute. Beautiful song. I'd love for that song to be played at my own funeral. Robin Williams will certainly be missed. The world's gotten a whole lot darker now that he's gone.

I understand. I recently watched Jumanji, Death To Smoochy, and Ferngully, and I had mixed feelings because even though I was laughing I still felt bad that he was gone.

yes that is true, he felt like he never saw the happiness that he gives out to others. "Even there are some wishes that i can't make come true." one of my favorite genie quotes from aladdin three which is true, he couldn't wish his sadness away and we can't bring him back if we could we would but always look back on the good times and his laughs i bet if you laugh hard enough you'll pee your pants

I don't believe what he did was right, but it's not my place to condemn him. I can only feel pity that he had such feelings in the first place. I don't want anyone to have any cause to feel that way.

I have to say that, while Robin Williams wasn't my favorite comedians or actors, I had so much respect for the passion he had for his work. He was a phenomenal talent and from what I could tell, he was a good man. We will all miss him. I just hope his spirit is at peace at last.

There's one role of Williams' that I've been trying to find the full version of: The Fisher King. I was interested in it before all this came up because it was, for Terry Gilliam, what The Straight Story or The Elephant Man was for David Lynch; a more down-to-earth, realistic film with little of their trademark strangeness and a more warm/optimistic tone.
