Unicron9 — Buster Optimus hands upgrade

Description I gave my Buster Optimus Prime metal pipes and some extra paint detail work back when I first got him, but now he has new hands too!
The hands were made by Ariel AKA Fakebuster83 and can be found in the Shapeways online store.

I must say they were pretty tough to put together. Lots of small parts and such a tight fit that I had to sand many things down to get them assembled. This is the case with many Shapeways sets though, and was well worth it to have highly articulated hands that transform into the death knuckles that Optimus killed Shockwave with in DOTM!

I messaged him about it a while back and he was still selling them, but his price to get so little that you have to mod and assemble yourself was way too high for me. It was more like what I'd expect to pay to have the figure modified, not the price for just a couple of parts.

Its certainly not anything I couldn't do, but it didn't look real easy either. It was just too expensive for me. Same goes for a lot of great Shapeways parts that would be great if that high price included them being assembled and painted.

Great work, as allways.
Btw, I have a related figure, it the battle blades OP.
What is disturbing to me are this hip-wheels.
Any idea how I could change the wheels that they look closer to the movie OP?

There is a way to add a slide mechanism to the top wheel so it moves up a bit and fits closer to his hip. It looks better but its more work than I've been willing to do for myself. An easy mod to mess up too.
