Description Just gave him the bot mode realism paint job makeover going by screen cap references.
Odd that this one is quite a bit better all around than the DOTM Voyager mold.
Neato that by the end of the movie Trilogy Hasbro actually put out a deluxe Optimus that is more detailed and accurate than the Leader class of 07 version.

I suppose this fella would be nice on display fighting deluxe Starscream if nothing else.
My fav of all the movie Optimus' is still the HFTD Voyager!

Is it possible to remove the backpack kibble...but keep the transformation in tact?

I know normally it can't..but I wonder if the front would stay on with out the sliding part.

is there another way of making the weapons lock out on the deluxeΒ΄s rather than stick a screw in the gap ?? i really want my dotm skids to have a fully extended weapon

You can't easily re-apply, but you can take out the spring.

We all want our weapon to fully extend... But sometimes a good screw is the only way.

Nice job! You really brought out the tiny details on this and I love how it looks overall.

For a small-scale Optimus to go along with the DOTM Megs, which do you recommend more? This Deluxe version or the 'Battle Blades' Voyager?

Thanks. Battle Blades by far.

Isn't it the only deluxe movie prime?

is it? I thought they made some for the first and second movies too...I have the Optimus from the first movie, he came in a box, so he must be one step bigger than deluxe, but since Optimus is supposed to be taller than most other autobots I display him on the same shelf as my deluxes and he fits in pretty well.

Yeah the Voyager Primes do fit well with some of the deluxes.

Looks cool. It's an easy pass BUT I may get him only to display him with the deluxe Protoform Prime.
