Description
Here he is all done. Fall of Cybertron Bruticus in more G1 colors.4th pic shows him next to my custom Fansproject Bruticus Maximus.
Last pic is FoC and G1.
To make him look not-so-stupid, I did lots of mods and fully repainted him, but made sure everything is still fully transforming with no extra partsforming.

Yeah. To me, vortex looks great, but blast off is a bit longer, and has no elbow movement in arm mode.

Man, I realy wish I could custom paint figures like that. I wanna get the FOC bruticus so badly but it only comes in Crappy colored Retail version or in Super expencive but highly detailed Takara version. If only I could buy the less expencive one and just color it accuratly...

It is just modded to fit in his alt mode. Did some cutting and resculpting and replaced the hinge hand it had with a ball jointed one. You can still see it in his robot mode.

I just made a hand from another figure fit. It wasn't an easy task at all and took sone cutting and sculpting on Vortex and the hand to make it fit just right. The hand is on a ball joint installed where the old hand pin joint was.

I still have issues with the Fall of Cybertron aesthetic in general, but the combined form (in more G1 inspired colours) does make that toy look much better. I think Highmoon set Hasbro an impossible challenge to create game accurate toys, and IMO they pretty much failed in this case.
Brawl looks like they have cheated to give him a foot mode, I'm not sure what was going on with blastoff and the system they have used for the knees makes them too prominent and gives the legs a strange elongated look that doesn't work.
You've done an excellent job trying to fix the issues with this set, and I'd be much more willing to purchase your version than the official set.
