Red spray with masked off areas then brush painting for the rest. I mostly use testors and tamiya paints.

I'll be honest, Optimus himself looks awesome, but the vehicle mode just seems like it would be better suited for conversion into a locomotive. Its shape just makes me think of it.
The battle damage is quite nice. Really brings out the veteran fighter that Prime is.
