What's weird is the Hylian princess that are not seen in games are also named Zelda there's literally a Hylian law saying all Hylian princesses must be named Zelda

(What I imagine is going on in this conversation)
OoT: Ah, it seems you have truly inherited the Mark of the Gods... The true symbol of Wisdom... You are truly ready to be next in line as Princess Zelda, young one.
TP: But Grandmother, I know almost naught of what I am meant to do as the Next in line of the Kingdom.
OoT: In time, my dear... There are many legends and many lessons that you will learn of overtime... You will know your destiny soon my dear... Beyond my lifetime.
TP: ... I understand, dear Grandmother... Thank you.

I always found this piece to be a great illustration of passing wisdom on to the next generation, especially since TP Zelda is descended from OOT Zelda. This piece truly deliver's on the legacy of inheriting the divine Wisdom the royal family has kept in their care for years, kinda reminds me of the Hero's shade passing on his legacy.

It's an excellent piece that really does express your views on how the legacy of the triforce is passed on. It's because the series have gaps of ambiguity that it's cool how fans can express their imaginations on how they see how the events tie together in fun and unique ways.

Absolutely gorgeous!
though if I may, I think Zeldaβs proportions might be a bit of sheβs to small. But everything else looks good!

This was probably TP Zelda when she was a teenager. I think by the time the events of Twilight Princess began, she was already a young adult.

Wow, what a beautiful piece! I love the autumn colors, they fit so well for some reason. OoT Zelda looks absolutely gorgeous, despite the fact that she's probably really, really old by now. I love the look of awe and wonder on TP Zelda's face

This would be incredible if this actually happened. Because TP zelda could have learn alot from OOT zelda and all of her mistakes.... wait would she even realize her mistakes? guess not, well Im rambling now soooo
yeah....
OOOH! OOT zelda could have informed the few legends she knew, or where the master sword is now considering it was moved (still for reasons unknown correct me if I am wrong) she could have explained what happened to Ganondorf, or about OOT link and how he left.
Did she know what happened to him afterward? I personally believe he married Malon, so did she know about that? know about their life? or was LInk sick of his adventuring life and wanted no contact with her (why they moved to Ordon?) I know that he left the bow he recieved in Termina with the Gorons and even though a longshot was returned to the water temple... did he keep contact with Zelda at all?????

The older Zelda looks beautiful. I often wonder why people draw only young people, when especially old ladies can be so facinating and pretty in their own ways.
π: 0 β©: 1
UNIesque In reply to Rosyan [2013-01-30 15:32:54 +0000 UTC]
Young people are considered more attractive since, when someone is aged, they're basically in a very decayed state, to put it bluntly. It's not generally an appealing thing people want to look at. :] But I'm glad you can see a beauty in it.

Words cannot contain the amount of awe I have for this piece. It's simply beautiful. All the details, all the colors...! And for some reason, I really like TP Zelda's dress.
But, um, if I could ask a favor...? Um...if I wrote a fanfiction based on this piece, would you mind too terribly much? I'd be sure to credit you. It's fine if you don't want to, of course.
Bottom line, lovely piece of art.

Thank you very much~ :]
I wouldn't mind at all - folks write based on my art from time-to-time, and I think it's great ya'll get inspired like that.
One thing to keep in mind is that, in light of the new Skyward Sword game, this kind of meeting would be impossible since Zelda is technically the Goddess Hylia being reincarnated over and over. But that's alright. It's why we call it FAN fiction, and FAN art. ^^ So, go for it.

SorceressofShadows In reply to UNIesque [2012-12-09 01:23:08 +0000 UTC]
No problem. (:
Oh, thank you. And I probably wouldn't keep that in mind. Skyward Sword doesn't change my perceptions at all, despite the spoilers and information I know. I never made it past the second dungeon. XD
