Got myself a deal on some more prismacolor markers, so now I have a total of 24. This was another test, but probably not the best idea because these markers are kicking my ass, and a detailed, specific subject like this doesn't really help me explore medium potential. x.X Oh well. I'll try something else later.
But here's Hilda…of Lorule. xD From the upcoming Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. That title reminds me so much of Uni…
Anyway, this is a photo like the last test I uploaded. I tried scanning it, but I really don't like how much of the glitter you don't get in the scanned version . Colors are truer, yeah, but I like the natural gradient I caught in the lamp light with the photo.
Apologies for the wonky lines…

-lineart - sketch paper, mechanical pencil, sakura micron pens
-coloring - prismacolor markers, sakura stardust gel pens, reminisce white gel pen

Wow. I like the colors on this one, it's very nicely done.
And, is it just me, or does Zelda's traditional dress look -better- with Hilda's darker hair and eyes?

I prefer darker hair on Zelda which is why I liked her Twilight Princess design so much. But I like her blue eyes more than red.
Hilda's got a great look - I honestly can't say if I like it better than Zelda's yet.

I'm partial to dark hair on the Princess, myself. The reason, however, I like Hilda's design is that the colors seem to fit better, at least to me.

It's a bit harder to see that she has darker hair than Zelda, but it's still an outstanding piece.

This looks really pretty and I totally thought of Uni when i saw the Link between worlds promo video *^*
I think that the colors on this look wonderful (much better in the scanned version) maybe there is a stronger more white light bulb to photograph near that might help the colors show up more?
and pfffff the lines are totally not wonky.

I'm sure I could've done it in a brighter light, but I was satisfied with how I got it for this one. :] Will be experimenting with other lights in the future~
