Description Well, it seems than Nycto had a weirdest crest than we thought. I made this version of my Nyctosaurus fixing the proportions over this skull:
[link]
It seems that the crest could have had this shape with both "branches" of the same lenght. I don't know how accurate is this new reconstruction, at now is very speculative, but I wanted to try it.
Anyway, this animal is absolutely BIZARRE. I have checked the proportions with skeletal material and it still looks imposible! even more impossible!! ARGH!!

He's really bizzare, maybe one of the most weird creatures I've ever seen! Great work, fur look so soft and real.

Okay, this is REALLY bizarre ... but I think these ridges would be the support of some type of candle, or something, as in Nyctosaurus gracilis ...
But even so, your work is very good! The fur looks very real and it is easy to see where it had muscle and where it had not

There might have been membrane in between those branches.

Did it really have that long of horns? If so, that totally puts the skin-covering theory to rest! Imagine the drag...It could snap it's neck by turning its head!

It seems to have had them, thought. I'm not sure about the skin-cover at all (despite the other version...), but this animals are so weird and have so many surprises that who knows?

It now seems unlikely they had a sail. Or so did Mark Witton said

If I'm not confused, I think it's about 3m of wingspan, so yes, it's quite small comparing for some of its contemporaneus (Pteranodon et al.)

Hmmm..it looks really fragile...and it must be light to the animal can support it...anyway you have got a very good result here.
