watercolours and watercolour pencils on paper, A4It sometimes amazes me how much progress I can make in 3 or 4 pieces... Like, it's not huge but I see I improved.
I tried to paint those violet plants from one of my recent pieces and I think they turned out better this time. I'm also still experimenting with watercolour pencils and I like the textures they gave this one. I love how much fun painting is giving me recently and how I am slowly fighting this constant urge to make good pieces every time, and I just paint whatever I feel like painting and sometimes I like the outcome and it feels wonderful! :- )

I know what you mean , we always want to make something good and well done , and sometimes forgot to do something more spontaneous that make beautiful pieces , personal , and expressive..

This is so good! I totally feel like you, I see I progress or improve a bit each time I draw something. It turned out pretty good, I really enjoy watercolours too. And yeah, it's what youre saying. Lately I feel less about making great pieces and just painting what I feel. Though it's also nice to make great art from times to times, isn't it?

It is but I don't feel I ever really made any great art yet so it's better just to paint and be positively surprised with the outcome rather than being constantly dissapointed because of the bar being set way too high from the beginning ;- )
