this is beautiful as it stands.
it's as if you have made friends with your fragments and possibly even your skin.
at least that is how this reads to me, personally and i should like to do do the same
or have wished to do so
for
a [very very]
long time
a dramatic side effect has me say
since time before memory
however i must only reiterate the first line of my comment.
this sounds a bit stoic - i am full of joy on this : ]

it reminds me of fear
fear of self
relationships are foiled when people don't know themselves.
perhaps I got it wrong but the essence is sadness and that part cant be denied.

There's a Native American concept where your soul becomes fragmented as a result of trauma, and your poem reminded me of it. I think your line, "Fragments are archeological findings of a scarred past we really should not remember", illustrates this concept nicely.

How could I NOT read it aloud? I don't "do" tattoos, but have read a couple short pieces at slams before.
This one's ready good.

I had to google prosetry to check if it was a real word. (laughs) They really should create such a category, it fits your work perfectly.
I really like this line fragments dropping in trains and cars and planes and traveling to places I shall never go.
For me, that sounds rather romantic (though maybe unhygienic) , that you are able to leave behind fragments of yourself like a cookie trail if you will. Then perhaps these fragments can also lead you to new places where you can discover yourself.
Lovely work as always

I shall end up faving every single piece you write.
But seriously this is wonderful!
Though i do prefer "fragments" to "flakes" really. ^^

Thank you so much!
Well Prosetry is literature primarily written in prose form with poetic language. Its supposed to be a bit surreal.

This is so beautiful.
Could I... recommend a book to you? I think you might like it a lot. The poetry sort of reminds me of it...
It's called The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. (There's also a movie adaption, which is really good.)
