History: Following the intervention of the Premiers in a long proxy war between various god-like extraplanar beings, the beings agreed to leave Earth’s realm. However, many of those same beings left behind empowered avatars.
All of this was unknown to Annabel Rapp, as the events took place on another plane of existence. Rapp was a freelance writer, enjoying the solitary lifestyle her profession afforded her. She didn’t long for adventure or dream about a grander life than the one she had. The introverted and somewhat socially anxious Rapp lived in a studio apartment with her two cats and she was happy.
The Elder God appeared before Rapp and bestowed its eldritch power upon her for reasons known only to it (See Elder God). Rapp, recalling the madness and evil that overtook her predecessor Forever Man, protested. Elder God assured her that madness only takes the weak-minded and that morality is a construct before returning to its distant home dimension. Rapp was not reassured by these sentiments.
She sought out the LA-based chapter of the Premiers for guidance. The Premiers, having just returned from the other plane, assumed the worst and engaged her in battle. Rapp, due to her inexperience, was easily bested by the team. After much explanation the mystic Apparition took her under her tutelage, and is currently helping Rapp learn how to use and control her eldritch powers (See Apparition).
Known superhuman powers: Evermore ages very slowly, possesses an extremely long potential lifespan, and is invulnerable to all convential means of injury and disease. She is also highly resistant to psychic attacks.
Evermore can project an eldritch energy from her eyes which can stun or paralyse opponents and cause immense mental anguish. Prolonged exposure to the energy will affect the target’s sanity. She has the power of flight and can reach speeds 10 times greater than the speed of sound.
She can project an aura that will induce a sense of dread and misery in others; prolonged exposure to her aura can induce insanity. Other lesser eldritch extraplanar beings heed her commands.
Evermore can lift up to 50 tons under optimal conditions.
