Wonderful! Too bad I can't see the real thing though . Scanning or taking pictures of your work usually skews how the piece really looks. But, anyways, her secret is "Victoria's Secret", right? ;D

Lol! I laughed so hard when I read your comment. Hehe, I worked so dang hard on this one. I should learn to stop asking Mr. S if I'm done with a painting, cause he always finds something else that needs to be fixed.
Thanks Jamiekins, that really means alot to me.

well you're very welcome! ...and yeah, sahlberg ALWAYS finds a little something to tweak, usually with an area you thought was finished and good to go -- then he tells you not to touch an area you just had roughed out, lol...

...*nods* the entire bottom portion of the painting of my dad -- he said that!! i was about ready to flip out because i had a real problem with leaving it looking so rough but eh, i trust what he says, what with being a professional for longer than i've been alive...

Thanks avi! The cloak turned out well color-wise, but I still have a difficult time with skin tones.

hehe, thank you so much! Yeah, that was the hard part about this painting, waiting a week before touching it each time. We use water-based oils though, so they dry faster.
