Contest submission forIt's done!!
Loved doing it, but also added to my current high-stress state. ^^ Oh well, it's done now.The contest was to show the "relationship" between Vincent Valentine and Yuffie from FinalFantasy.
Fun picture, probably my first succesfull lineless ever.
Took somewheres around two days to color, and another day to do the sketch.Might say more later, just too tired to think right now. At least I get to sleep in.

Just one question: How would one go about creating a lineless picture?

I always have some kind of lineart, whether it's just a messy sketch or refined. Then on a separate layer I carefully paint over the lines, keeping the basic shapes and paying attention to shadows. It really isn't all too hard. I could upload a couple process pieces if you want to see what I mean.

You know...There's something that's been bugging me about Vincent's eye...or eyes. I dunno.... I think his gaze should be a bit lower, or his eyes more closed, or his right eye shoulda been a bit further right than it is, closer to his ear....something.
