Finished Tigatron painting.20some hours most likely, acrylic on 18x24 canvas board.
Full view encouraged.. It shows the detail work better.

Oooo, quality BW fanart. Very, very nice. Let's see, critique...I like how you used the black and white on Tigatron, but a slight green tint might have actually enhanced the painting as a whole and drawn the eye to Tigatron's unnatural nature. He blends in almost too much. Also, his legs are a little too narrow, and the bark of the tree looks a bit odd.
But, oh, I like this. There isn't enough Beast Wars fanart, and the quality of the painting comes through in this. What have you done with it? A natural wood frame in driftwood-gray or light brown might complement it.

I would have colored Tigatron, but I had intended it for the black and white section of the Botcon art contest, hence no green. (I count the yellow tones as offwhites..) And I hate the tree.. I fail at bark. Every time. Oh well. I used the yellow background tones to sort of make him stand out a bit more.. A pale white sky threatened to eat him and not spit him back out.

My parents have it right now, I didn't have anywhere for it and didn't feel lit trying to cram it back in my suitcase after Botcon, So I just sent it home with them.. They eventually are going to frame it.
I want to do more works like this, Just finding the time to do them is a chore. I kind of want to do a series dipicting the BW guys with their designated animals in some capacity. Such as Tigs is shown with a tiger (Weather it's snow stalker or not is up to the viewer)

I suppose so, or however you want to look at her.
Girlfriend, Snowstalker, tiger he scanned from. If you look carefully i've attempted to match the stripes on Tigatron's tiger head to the real tiger's.
