I've been getting a bunch of questions about Rucas sister and what she looks like grown upsince I only draw them together as children so here is Veruca's older sister Veronica
now you kinda get an idea what ruca would look like normal haha
I don't really draw her much cause they don't really hang out or get along
they both hate the choices each other make
Veronica hates how Veruca has chosen to live her life running around in gangs and fears that her sister will end up like their father in prison
and Veruca see's Ronnie as a traitor for siding with her mother in no longer visiting their father and letting her mom try to move on with another man
Veronica is in college studying business and has a rich lawyer boyfriend and keeps her distance
the only time they see each other is when their mother sends ronnie to check on ruca and make sure shes still alive since she cannot
Ronnie sends pictures as proof. Ruca never takes nice pictures for her mom lol

I know I'm fairly late to the party but it just occurred to me to ask, have you ever considered letting Veronica unintentionally meet and befriend Trish? It would grind Ruca's gears but I think they'd get along a lot better, and perhaps we could see even more of her! I can imagine Ron causing all kinds of drama engaging with her sister's sworn enemy whilst trying to convince "a good girl" like Trish as a concerned friend to break up with Olly and aspire for better in life. But as much as that might be convenient for Ruca, getting Trish out the way, I don't think she'd appreciate her sister badmouthing Olly like that, even if its to someone she hates.

both educated girls living in nice neighborhoods lol maybe that could be another reason ruca despises trish as if she didnt have enough reasons to already
that would absolutely kill veruca she already distances herself from her mother and Ronnie because she feels they abandoned her father and betrayed him, seeing ronnie talk to trish would endanger ronnie lmao she might want to fight her sister without even letting her explain

lol, yeah that would be pretty sad. Ruca having to see Veronica treat Trish more like a sister than her. Though if Ruca did try to fight Ron, that might convince her even more her sister really needs help. Ruca doesn't want anything to do with her but now suddenly wants to call dibs on how she runs her life? I wouldn't be surprised if Ron ironically resents Ruca for 'abandoning the family' for 'some guy', and may feel sis has no right to decide who she does and doesn't talk to when she AT LEAST respected her decision to be with Olly. I wonder how Ron would fair in a fight? Given how close she and Ruca used to be, I wonder if there's still an inner bad bitch in her she usually keeps concealed?
Overall I think it'd be awesome and fun to explore, and may give Ron motivation to be part of her sister's life a little more. I wonder if she'd one day sort of become for Trish what Glam is to Ruca? Either way, I think Ron might actually grow to dislike Olly even more than she originally did before in this situation. She just can't shake him off and get rid of him XD! Not only is he 'once again ruining someone else's life' that she cares about (worse, someone with better prospects for a future than Ruca) I think a part of her might not approve of the way he treats her and (likely) casually brushed Ruca aside to be with another girl. Even if she didn't approve of him, I think its the way he treated Ruca that would additionally put Ron off. That's still her little sister's heart he broke.
Or who knows maybe she'd just be glad Ruca can finally move on. Though I guess it would... Be kind of hard to bask in victory and hope for the best though, when Olly just moved on to yet another loved one, though.
Here's another question, have you thought about what Ruca might do with her life when she's older? Do you think she'd move on from actively participating in the gang one day, or be a ride or die girl who sticks it out until the end?

duuude yesss Ronnie totally does feel that Veruca has abbandonded her family. She hardly ever calls her mom or visits and basically leaves all the responsibilty of caring for her mother to veronica
so they both have their own reasons for not liking eachother
lol she used to be tough but veronica is more of a fighter with words than with fist if they were to get in a fight it would be ruca throwing the first blow and the ronnie running off to call the cops
it would be hard Trish is a loner and a introvert she hardly lets anyone into her life olly was a rare occurance Trish actually has no friends she knows people like a aquantinces and co- workers but she's very too her self shes the kind of person where you see her sitting by herself on a bus and you compliment her she'll sheepishly say thank you and then hurry to put on her headphones so she doesnt have to talk anymore lol
it's weird veronica is VERY happy ruca and olly split but she shows it in a mean way? kind of like an " i told you so " and not a "aww ru im so sorry he's an idiot for not staying you can do better "she thinks that now that theyve split up for real this time that ruca will come crawling back to her family and leave the gang. when she found out they werent together anymore she sent her a card saying how she knew this would happen heres a train ticket home now she can do better for her self and offering to pay for tattoo laser removal treatments to get rid of the 13 on her face
well the way i set it up is once you join the 13 coffins you can't leave it's forever and thats why they make you tattoo your number on yourself anyone who has tried to leave has been killed and their number has been given to a new prospect. the thing about gangs is most members never really live long enough to get old
you join young, and you either die on the job, get locked up or live long enough to retire your number and become a sub head hire up which hardly happens but when they join they are all just so young and stupid they dont get that and they just want to belong to a family.

I really love this because honestly I can relate to Veronica a little more because my sister was a party animal, which cause stressed to the family. i feel sorta sad for ruca, since she isn't close to her family. it's hard to not really fit in with family and then have them spy on you and talk about your life choices like you don't know what to do for yourself even though you are happy. but i love her just the way she is! i hope maybe her family understands that soon.
